DUI Court Appearance: What to Wear

What Should I Wear to DUI Court Appearance

DUI Court AppearanceWhy worry about DUI court appearance and what to wear? A DUI court appearance is not a trifling matter. Accusation of driving while intoxicated (DUI) cannot stand next to attorney expecting the whole affair to be a simple joke.  Worse would be walking into the courtroom looking like a mess and without a criminal DUI attorney at their side.

Criminal DUI attorneys should counsel defendants how to appear in front of Judge in DUI court in handling of case.  The criminal DUI attorney, will advise their defendants on every single point of physical appearance. This includes hair, shoes, shirt, pants, jacket, even washing up in the morning and when to shave. They want to present the cleanest, most court-friendly appearance possible.

When a defendant walks into court, they should present an appearance that will show some measure of cleanliness and contrition.  As their criminal DUI attorney speaks on their behalf of actions and traits that support the clean-cut image.  Hopefully, bringing about a less severe and less costly punishment for their client.  An experienced criminal DUI attorney will advise their client to present the best possible appearance in court.

This does not mean showing up in an expensive suit or dressed to the nines.  It does mean that the defendant should appear clean and decently dressed when they show up in court.  No one is expecting a defendant to look as sharp as their criminal DUI attorney.  However, they should be at least presentable in front of a Judge.
