Prior to practicing law, Lee worked for the Ramsey County judiciary and served as a mediator in several Hennepin County Courts. Lee practices exclusively in the area of criminal defense. He has argued criminal issues before the Minnesota Court of Appeals and has tried numerous jury trials with successful results.
Lee has experience with misdemeanor, gross misdemeanor, and felony cases. His practice areas include DWI crimes, forgery crimes, juvenile crimes, criminal sexual conduct, drug crimes, assault crimes and criminal expungements. Lee practices across the state of Minnesota with many of his cases occurring in Hennepin, Ramsey, Dakota, Goodhue, Sherburne, and Washington counties.
He was recognized as an Attorney of the Year in 2011 for his contributions to the largest criminal case in Minnesota's history. In that same year, he was awarded the Criminal Defense Special Recognition Award by the Minnesota Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
For the last three years he has been selected as a SuperLawyer Rising Star - an accolade given to less than 2.5% of attorneys.
