Kirkland DUI Arrest Help

If a person is stopped and arrested by a Kirkland Police Officer for suspicion of DUI, they will be taken to the Kirkland Police Department for BAC processing.

The Kirkland Police Department and Kirkland DUI Cases

The Kirkland Police Department is located at the bottom of the Kirkland City Hall

The address of Kirkland Police Department is 123 5th Ave, Kirkland, WA 98033.

If a person is taken to the Kirkland Police Department for BAC processing, there is video recorder in the breath test room.  People who were taken to the Kirkland Police Department as a result of their arrest for DUI may request a copy of the video recording during the time they were at the station. This request must be made to Lieutenant Balkema of the Kirkland Police Department.  While the time at the station is typically recorded, most Kirkland Police Officers do not have an in-car camera that would record the initial stop and investigation leading up to an arrest for DUI.

If a person receives a Kirkland DUI, they will likely have charges filed via investigation. Typically, they will receive a summons to appear in court for their arraignment anywhere from 1-3 weeks after their arrest (It is sometimes longer in certain circumstances, such as if there is a blood test in which test results are pending from the Washington State Toxicology Labraotory). The City of Kirkland contracts with a private law firm to provide prosecutions for a Kirkland DUI.  The name of the firm is Moberly & Roberts.  There are several prosecutors who work for this firm.  Sarah Roberts and Blakely Warbinton are the primary Kirkland Prosecutors (although there are several others who frequently appear).

Kirkland Washington DUI Court

People who face a Kirkland DUI will have court at the Kirkland Municipal Court.

This court is located at 11515 NE 188th St, Kirkland, WA 98033. The presiding judge of the Kirkland Municipal Court is the Honorable Michael Lambo.

Anyone who faces a Kirkland DUI should immediately contact an experienced WA DUI attorney to discuss their case.
