Bellevue DUI Arrest Help

If a person is stopped and arrested by a Bellevue Police Officer for suspicion of DUI, they will be taken to the Bellevue Police Department for BAC processing.

The Bellevue Police Department and Bellevue DUI Cases

The Bellevue Police Department is located in the main Bellevue City Hall.  The address of Bellevue City Hall is 450 110th Ave NE, Bellevue 98009.

If a person is taken to the Bellevue Police Department for BAC processing, there is video recorder in the breath test room.  People who were taken to the Bellevue Police Department as a result of their arrest for DUI may request a copy of the video recording during the time they were at the station.  The City of Bellevue charges a fee for a copy of this recording.  While the time at the station is typically recorded, most Bellevue Police Officers do not have an in-car camera that would record the initial stop and investigation leading up to an arrest for DUI.

If a person receives a Bellevue DUI, they will likely have charges filed via investigation. Typically, they will receive a summons to appear in court for their arraignment anywhere from 1-3 weeks after their arrest (It is sometimes longer in certain circumstances, such as if there is a blood test in which test results are pending from the Washington State Toxicology Labraotory). Bellevue DUI's are prosecuted by the City of Bellevue Prosecuting Attorney's Office.  The main prosecutor is Susan Irwin, and there currently are three other prosecutors who work for the City of Bellevue Prosecting Attorney's Office.

Bellevue Washington DUI Court

People who face a Bellevue DUI will have court at the King County District Court, East Division, Bellevue Courthouse. This court is located at 585 112th Ave SE, Bellevue, WA  98004. Anyone who faces a Bellevue DUI should immediately contact an experienced DUI attorney to discuss their case.
