Meet Attorney Hardenbergh
Charles Hardenbergh is a 1993 Distinguished Graduate of the Virginia Military Institute (VMI). He holds a BA in Economics and Business as well as a minor in History. In 1996, He graduated from the University of Virginia Law School with a JD and sat for the Virginia bar, where he is currently licensed. After seven years as a JAG officer in the US Army, he served another three years at VMI as a professor of law and accounting in the Economics and Business Department.
In 2005, he earned an MS in Tax Accounting from the University of Virginia, and in 2007, he passed the CPA exam.
Mr. Hardenbergh focuses on DUI cases because he is passionate about helping ordinary people who get accused of this life altering and serious crime. He enjoys the legal, scientific and courtroom aspects of his DUI practice, and is dedicated to always pushing to get his clients the best possible result for their cases and their lives.
He has experience as a federal prosecutor and criminal defense counsel, taught contracting, ethics, law of war, and criminal law at the Army Logistics Management College, and has extensive experience in other areas of the law as well. He is a strong advocate of gun owner's rights and stridently opposes the imposition of any "mandatory minimum" term of confinement for alcohol and other substance offenses.
