OHIO DUI URINE TESTING

Urine Testing in DUI Cases

Ohio uses urine analysis to detect the presence of drugs or drug matabolites in a DUI suspect's system.  Ohio uses Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry to test for marihuana or marihuana metabolites, as stated in the Ohio DUI/OVI statute below.  Urine testing is not the most common testing, but it is still used in DUI cases in Ohio.

If you submitted to a urine test, consult with an experienced DUI attorney for help in defending your case.  Challenges to the testing process and procedures may result in suppresion of your test or even dismissal of your case.
