Two underage individuals both face with alcohol-related charges after a car they were traveling in became entangled in a muddy bank in New Hampshire.
Near 2:00AM Tuesday morning, police received a report of a vehicle turning donuts in a muddy lawn. It is unclear from reports whether the river of that behicle, 19-year-old Patricia Messina, was attempting to run onto the lawn or simply lost control of the car. In any case, the car became stuck in the lawn of a local home, and police arrived at the scene before the driver and her passenger could leave.
The vehicle needed to be towed away from the scene when police discovered the underage Messina was under the influence. In addition, police charged passenger 18-year-old Scott Sullivan with possession of alcohol that was found in the car and around the scene.
Beyond the alcohol charges, Sullivan will face charges of carrying a switchblade. This is a type of knife that is not legal in most states in the United States. The knives are seen as very dangerous, often unintentionally, because of the springing action of the blade.
