A suspected DWI accident in the Ft. Worth area lead to the death of a 63-year-old man after a head on collision Saturday night.

The suspect in the accident was not named in early police reports. This individual, reportedly also a male, was additionally admitted to a local hospital due to injuries sustained in the crash. He is under police surveillance and will be arrested upon his release, if and when that occurs.

The victim has been identified as Larry Thompson. He died from head injuries after the accident around 10:30PM Saturday, and the death will be documented as a homicide. The head-on collision occurred when the suspect swerved across the center line and into oncoming traffic on Robertson Road. 

The suspect has not yet been charged in full in connection with the death. Intoxication manslaughter charges are likely.
