On Sunday night following the Super Bowl, a San Diego deputy was hit by a 44 year old driver, who was later arrested for DUI.
According to a report in the Union-Tribune, the deputy was briefly hospitalized, but was released with only minor injuries. The suspect was not injured.
The legal limit for DUI in San Diego County is 0.08 percent body alcohol content.
If convicted, the driver could face an aggravated sentence due to the accident.
