Missouri DWI Chemical Evidence

In Missouri, chemical testing of your breath, blood, saliva or urine may be requested.  No more than two chemical tests can be requested.

Chemical testing analysis must be conducted in accordance with the methods approved by the state department of health and senior services.  Only licensed medical personnell or those holding a valid permit are authorized to conduct chemical testing for DWI purposes in Missouri. 

Additional chemical testing may be performed on the DWI suspect at the suspect's own expense.  Information regarding the chemical testing performed by the police must be forwarded to the DWI suspect or his attorney upon request.

After a Missouri DWI arrest, you only have

15 days

to request a hearing through the Department of Revenue to save your license.
