Bill was admitted to practice law in Illinois in 1979, after graduating from the University of Illinois College of Law in Champaign. While in law school he was on the Dean's List. Bill then practiced for 18 years in Chicago. In 1997 he moved his practice downstate, and in 2007 founded the firm Gullberg & Box.

Bill is a member of the National College for DUI Defense, and is an experienced DUI defense lawyer.
