Orange County DUI Jail
If you are convicted of an Orange County DUI misdemeanor, will you have to serve any jail time? If so, where do they typically send people with first or second offense drunk driving cases where there are no accidents or injuries?

The sentence for a DUI in Orange County depends on many variables, such as:
- Blood alcohol level (.15% and .20% are dividers)
- Existence of prior convictions within 10 years
- Any accident or injuries involved
- Presence of a passenger under 14
- High speed
- The abilities and reputation of your attorney
- Weaknesses found by your attorney in the prosecutor's case
- Legal issues (probable cause to stop or detain, illegal roadblocks, etc,)
For a second offense within 10 years, the school will be longer and a jail sentence of 30-90 days is likely, with 45 days being common.Lawrence Taylor
