Orange County DUI Advice
I would like to get some preliminary information about Orange County DUI process and what to expect both in court and from the DMV hearing. It is difficult to find all of the information that I'm looking for in one place, so my hope is that by asking the right questions I'll be able to piece together a coherent picture of what a person should expect when they go to court on a drunk driving charge in Orange County.
I'm not quite sure the best way to go about posting these questions, and I want to say I'm sorry in advance if I don't use the right protocol in posting. I looked at the forum rules and couldn't really tell whether a single person should post all of their questions in one place, or whether each questions should have its own thread.
I'm going to put one or two related questions maximum per thread because otherwise, I'm guessing, it might be difficult for anybody to sort through. For example, I think one answer might be confused as to which question it is responding to, and if the threads grow large it will be impossible to tell anything that is being said.
To start off with, I want to say that getting an Orange County DUI is a terrifying and humbling experience, and I hope that fewer and fewer people each year have to go through it. The example case that I'm talking about is a Fullerton DUI arrest, and a misdemeanor. I will speak in hypotheticals so as not to disturb anybody or create any inference that I'm talking about a specific person (myself included).
I have to assume that the Orange County prosecutors read this forum, and I think it would be wise for anybody who is looking for any kind of advice or guidance to use general terms, and perhaps change some of the minor details of the case in examples so as not to create a direct link.
My hope is that Orange County DUI lawyers will see these questions and answer freely.
