    Default Ohio DUI expungement

I may be getting a little bit ahead of myself because I'm just starting with my case, but I want to make sure I have all of the information. If I'm convicted of an Ohio DUI (my case is pending in Municipal Court in Cincinnati), how long will it be before I can get the charge erased from my record?

My thinking is that if it can be done very quickly, I'm probably better off just pleading guilty and then immediately having the judge erase my record.

Is this a good idea? Has it been done before?

Are there any good resources that outline the Ohio DUI and criminal expungement process?

    Thank you,
    giltter

Default In Ohio, OVI expungement is not possible

    Dear glitter,

Unfortunately, an Ohio OVI conviction stays on your record for 50 years.
