Minnesota DWI chemical dependency assessments
Where do you get a court ordered chemical dependency assessment and treatment if you get a Minnesota DWI? Also, how much do they cost.

Billy,
Once you get yours, I'm very interested to hear how it goes, and what kind of questions that they asked you.
Thanks,
AVM

accessment -- $130 - $165
Hi,
When to a chemical health assessment yesterday. Your attorney (and you should get an attorney) should be able to recommend one. The cost for mine was $165 (cash -- you want to avoid having it on your health insurance). It took about an hour.
Treatment cost covers a wide range, depending on the treatment. In Hennepin County I hear that "Driving with Care" classes are popular with the courts. There are two levels; I know Level II is about $400 (though I have been having difficulties getting a list of providers).
Hope this helps,
TWC
