Welcome to the DUI/DWI Insurance Forum
Hello and welcome to the drunk driving insurance forum. This is the place to discuss all issues surrounding auto insurance and DUI charges. There are many situations where a DWI charge results in a SR-22 high risk insurance requirement. Many states have loopholes and tricks to avoid or minimize the insurance damage that an impaired driving conviction will have on your premiums and insurability.
It is also true that some insurance companies can and do drop customers after DUI arrests and convictions. The legality of doing this may differ from state to state.
This is the place to ask your questions and share your experiences about DUI insurance, and auto insurance in general.
If you have had a good or bad experience with insurance companies following a DWI, we want to hear from you so others can benefit from your experiences.
