Brandon Williams, owner, of the Law Offices of Brandon T. Williams. Mr. Williams has extensive criminal law experience. He has worked on just about all sides of the criminal legal system. While in Law school, Mr. Williams graduated cum laude.  He also clerked as an extern for the Honorable Judge Amy Krause in the 54A- District Court in Lansing, Michigan. As a law clerk, Mr. Williams was able to experience law from a judicial stand point. He discussed cases with the judge, wrote bench memos, and did research for the court. Because this court was primarily a domestic violence court, Mr. Williams was able to gain extensive experience in domestic violence issues and cases.

Next, Mr. Williams extern with the Santa Clara District Attorney’s Office. Mr. Williams spent roughly a year at the Santa Clara County District Attorney Office. At the district attorney office, he wrote and argued just about all of the motions for the misdemeanor department. He also prosecuted traffic violations. Mr. Williams helped planed for and participate in jury trials. He was also able to provide extensive input in trial strategy and pretrial negotiations.

After the district attorney office, Mr. Williams worked for a small private law firm in Chico, California.  At this law firm, Mr. Williams handled felonies, misdemeanors, infractions, and has done an appeal case.  Mr. Williams has handled a variety of criminal cases such as: DUI, Theft, Domestic Violence, Assaults and Batteries, Minor in Possession, Drunk in Public and other alcohol related crimes, sex registrations crimes, robberies, suspended license, and Marijuana crimes.

In addition to criminal work, Mr. Williams has experience in civil law. He has gone to trial on a civil case, has participated in multiple civil settlement conferences, and has negotiated civil settlements.
